From requirement to delivery: 9 steps
Most first-time orders follow the same path. Working through it in order avoids the two most common causes of delay — an incomplete technical brief and an unconfirmed packing or MOQ requirement.
-
Define your requirements
Write down the substrate, the process you run (zinc, copper, nickel, chrome, alloy, electroless nickel, anodizing, pretreatment, post-treatment or coating), whether you plate on racks or in barrels, workpiece size and batch size, your target appearance, coating thickness and corrosion resistance (for example salt-spray hours), plus tank volume and estimated consumption.
-
Technical selection and consultation
Send the brief to your sales engineer. We match it against our product lines — chemical intermediates, general metal electroplating, electroless plating, chemical raw materials, coating chemicals and electronic plating — and recommend the grade that fits your bath and target.
-
Request a sample and run your own trial
Validate performance on your own workpieces before committing to bulk. Contact your sales engineer to arrange a trial sample.
-
Quotation
You receive pricing for the confirmed grade, quantity and packing. Quotation validity depends on the chemical, so confirm the window before you schedule the order internally.
-
Order and payment
Once the specification, quantity and packing are agreed, the order is confirmed and payment is arranged.
-
Production and lead time
The factory prepares stock and schedules production. Plan your bath changeover or stock replenishment against this window.
-
Quality inspection and documents
Inspection documents are prepared so that you can file batch traceability with your own incoming-goods records.
-
Packaging and shipping
Packing is confirmed against your handling and storage conditions; shipment follows the terms agreed in the contract.
-
After-sales and technical support
Your sales engineer tracks how the chemical performs in your line after delivery. Pre-sales and after-sales technical questions are answered by the sales engineer, and bulk customers can be supported with follow-up visits depending on the situation.

What to prepare for a fast, accurate quotation
A complete brief usually removes one or two rounds of questions. These are the details that most affect product selection, packing and freight.
- Substrate and workpiece — base metal, part geometry and complexity, size and expected batch size.
- Process — the plating or treatment line you run, including the pretreatment sequence.
- Rack or barrel — which method your line uses, as this affects the recommended grade and dosing.
- Target result — appearance, coating thickness and corrosion requirement (for example salt-spray hours).
- Tank volume and consumption — bath size and estimated annual volume, which drive packing and pricing.
- Packing and destination — preferred pack size, delivery port and required shipping terms.
- Documents you need — tell us at quotation stage which certificates or declarations your market requires.
- Current product or reference brand — if you are switching or benchmarking, the incumbent product helps us position the recommendation.
